As a part of the four dimensions of the Confirmation Preparation laid out by the Crookston Diocese, all youth preparing for Confirmation in the 9th, 10th and 11th grades will participate in Service and Social Justice Experiences.
Each 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade student at St. Joe’s is called to serve their parish and community in the following ways.

2nd Sunday Coffee and Rolls/Hospitality Servers
Crystal and AJ Grout, have generously taken on leading the 2nd Sunday of each month in hopes to get youth and families active in serving Coffee and Rolls. Our first Sunday of service is on November 12. Sign up to serve after the 8:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. Mass. Sign up here.
Knights of Columbus Fish Fries
Sign up to help the Knights of Columbus with their weekly Fish Fry from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at St. Francis in Moorhead. 8 youth are needed on Fridays March 3, 10, and 17. Thank you for helping with this awesome service to our parish and community during Lent. Sign up here.
Tenebrae Prayer Service of Light
If you would like to help with this theatrical prayer night, there are many ways your son or daughter can participate. Parents who have experience with Tenebrae are also needed to help make this beautiful night. Tenebrae practice will be on Sunday, March 25 at 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday March 28 at 5:00 p.m. Only actors and readers need to be present for the Sunday night practice. Sign up here.
Spring Clean Up at the Dorothy Day House
Enjoy the fresh spring weather by helping with important outside spring cleaning at the Dorothy Day House on Wednesday, May 9 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Please wear jeans or long pants and bring garden or work gloves and a rake. Meet at the Dorothy Day House (not pantry). Sign up here.
